Anushka is a Melbourne based Mezzo – Soprano. She is currently studying Bachelor of Music (Honours) at the prestigious Melbourne Conservatorium of Music at The University of Melbourne. She has been awarded Melbourne Bach Choir scholarship for 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, and has performed with the Melbourne Bach Choir and Zelman Memorial Symphony Orchestra on March 21st, 2021, in their World Premiere of “No Friend but The Mountains”, the two Bach Passions Mahler Symphony no. 2 in 2023, and the Verdi Requiem in 2024, as well as many other works. She was also a part of VOYCE, since Year 10 in school to 3rd year university, and Victorian Opera and has performed with them in their productions of ‘The Second Hurricane’, ‘The Magic Pudding’ and ‘Parsifal’ as a chorus member. In 2021, she had also participated in “The Grumpiest Boy in The World” at Montsalvat as well as the online workshop version of “Friends of Salamanca” as the cover role of Manuel. In 2022 she was lucky enough to receive the principal role of Calliope in VOYCE’s Youth Production of Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld. She was also in the first production of their new 'Emerging Artists' Opera Series 'Il Mago di Oz'. As of 2023, Anushka has also been in the emerging artists' opera 'Cheremushki'. She has also had the amazing opportunity to collaborate and create an Opera, in Victorian Opera's New Opera workshop, targeted to young children and school kids, in 2023, which will hopefully be performed in 2024. In 2024, she is a part of the Victorian Opera Emerging Artists' Opera, 'English Eccentrics'.
